In the normal society, many GM crops your can find in everywhere.  But some countries oppose GM crops, some countries have no idea about GM crops. According to the this essay, there have some views to support GM crops, some views to against the GM crops.

Some people think that the GM food is an important invention in the genetically engineered crops. There are three reasons to support it. First of all, the GM crop that may benefit not just the farmers who grow it but also the consumers who eat it. So , it can improves the lives of million of the people in the world. Secondly, GM crops are potential sources of allergens. For instance, the peanut is likely to cause allergic reactions. However, it is impossible to cause such a problem in the golden rice. Last but not least, the GM crop , a safe and effective natural insecticide, is popular with organic farmers. It can resistant to insects by transferring into them the bacterial genes that produce specific insect poisons.

And also have some people think that the GM crops is not good, and have three ideas to support it. First of all, it is a strange way might cause ecological damage. For example, the hostility is understandable, most of the GM crops introduced so far have been developed for one of two purpose: either to produce a plant  resistant to insect pests or a plant resistant to the chemicals that famers use to kill weeds in their fields. Second, it could cause allergic reactions, because genes transferred in the process of making GM foods contain instructions for making proteins. So, maybe you will allergenic if you eat some GM foods. Third, the pollen from GM crops will fertilize wild plants, and making stronger weeds even more difficult to control. And no one know what will happen,  but scientists think that they will find it. And a scientist say:"people should be responding to these concerns with experiments, not assurances."

In summary, there are good reasons both for and against about the GM crops. It is very useful and important for the human being to produce the GM crops. In the future, we will have more and more people, so we need a lot  of food every year. So the GM crops will be more popular.
